Am I the only one who thinks they are dangerous due to the lack of engine sound ? As much as I dislike Harleys I agree with the adage that loud pipes save lives. A quiet motorcycle is just waiting to be flattened by idiotic drivers on the road, and there are plenty of them out there.

That was exactly what I was thinking.

The S2000 will be the closest thing to a motorcycle I will own.

A range of 82 miles. Apparently to insure that you make a fool out of yourself locally.

I've never bought into that adage. Honda Goldwings have a pretty good safety record.
They could drive by and you might not even notice they were there.

If it is a concern however they have a special accessory pack for that

I have a piece of my hip, a titanium rod and 36 screws in my leg due to a motorcycle accident so I'm a bit biased but I'll tell you it's a lot of fun till you crash.

Probably most of us here have been thr and dn that. But two wheelers are no match for four wheelers on the streets and roads. Too bad, because they are so much fun! Sometime when driving on twisty mountain roads in the S2000, I just lean into the turns - like on motorcycle.

Not a fan of motorcycles. No protection against the insane drivers on the road today. I had a Vespa motor scooter in Coronado while I was in the Navy. That was in 64 when drivers were not as reckless as today. It got me to the town, beach and back.
