Default In Honor of Christopher Reeve

I wasn't inclined to post another thread about someone passing, but I just heard about Christopher Reeve.

What an amazing guy. Not necessarily for his acting (though we all loved him as Superman), but for the real man he showed himself to be after losing complete use of his body.

So long, Christopher! I can't help but be saddened by this news.

To you, Christopher -- Perhaps you have gone on to a place where you no longer need that wheelchair and breathing equipment.

to Christopher Reeve. Seems like he was a class act.

Anyone recall the little movie he did with Jane Seymour, "Somewhere in Time?" I remember him more for that role than for Superman (I alwasy think of George Reeves as Superman.)

Awww Julie, a truly magical movie. Not big budget, or with fancy special effects....but a wonderful story none the less.

^^ I'll always fancy the movie because it was filmed at the Grand Hotel and because it introduced me to Paganini. (I was 9 when it was released in '80 and only saw it later on video as a young teenager.)

A spokesman for the disabled. He dedicated his life to speaking on behalf of research towards the cure so that perhaps someday others would be better off. For that alone we all owe him thanks and gratitude.

Christopher Reeve, your voice was one of reason that needed to be heard. You will be missed.

Christopher Reeve, rest in peace.

to Christopher. God's speed. RIP

P.S. Ironically, my friends used to give me a hard time that I would road race motorcycles but NOT ride horses.
