Saw our first hummingbird today! I love those little guys.

No pics, but feel free to post any new updated ones if you have any.

Hoping he comes around again while we are on the deck in a little while. Rick will be grilling burgers for dinner.

I love em too but the times I've tried taking any pics they keep moving and I end up with a blur. Got to get those guys to slow down, relax, mellow.

I have two feeders and he showed up at both tonight...One feeder is right near my deck. Hopefully, I'll grab some shots soon.

I've seen a few this year although I suspect all but one are migrating further north. The male that nests in the elm tree is already on patrol but I haven't seen his mate. The feeders are getting emptied about every 2 weeks so there's obviously traffic I'm not seeing.

We have quite a few, but they have competition this year for the nectar. It seems we have a least two English sparrows that like to try and extract nectar from the feeders while perched on the feeders.

It's quite funny watching the sparrows and hummingbirds fight over the feeders.

I didn't think a Texan would ever replace cattle with hummingbirds!
