Default Hummingbirds 2010

OK new thread for the hummers. I mean the hummingbirds!

I've seen a couple, but I think I made the last batch of nectar too weak.

Hope the haven't moved on. We have some nice flowers they will soon be able to enjoy.

They like salvia:

Interesting stuff.

Still no hummingbirds and they generally show up at dinner time.

Store bought powder. Generally I try to mix it sweeter (use less water than called for )early in the season.

The hummingbirds have been here since mid-May. They have to fight for space on the feeders with the Baltimore Orioles.

+1 might have seen a Baltimore Oriole yesterday. A little unusual.

Since finding the hummingbird feeders a few years ago, the Orioles show up every spring like clockwork.
