No, no, no, granny. I won't become my mother, but I do think in her case it was a "keep you company" or "loneliness" thing. If I want some noise, I'll get out a CD I like, or turn on the radio. I even talk to the dogs and cats, but no TV for me.

I'll bet you just fall asleep with the TV on.

Did anyone else catch Boston Legal last night, Dec. 13th. I thought it was especially good. Lots of funny stuff. House was not as much fun as usual to me, though. Tuesday night is the one night I stay up and watch TV. No Commander in Chief though.

I had seen the Boston Legal episode already, but agree with you. Boston Legal is a very amusing program and Jim and I enjoy it when we can stay awake to watch. We decided last night that House was crappy and we're sick of all the stupid stuff, so we're xing off our list of programs we enjoy (which grows shorter every day) . In its first season, it was very interesting, but now it has just gotten totally ridiculous. I've told +1 never to allow me to be treated in a hospital that is run like that one!!!

I hit the sack, but the VCR was taping. I'll watch it tonight.

Talk about stupid! Last night during commercial - "Local school evacuated no major injuries to report - news at 11" Well, at 11P the real story was that a local school had a fire drill and mock disaster drill. This is one reason i hate local channels.

I will never forget watching a local PA news station while on a visit to my sister years ago.

There had been a terrible auto accident. The news station felt the need to report that one of the victims had been "de-captitated." And the camera panned the street so the anchor could add "there's the head" as they showed an area covered by a white sheet.

I was I have never been so outraged while watching local news. What about the family and friends of this victim? Can you imagine watching the news only to hear that? I don't remember if I got the station's mailing address to send a letter of complaint, but I should have.

When the Today show felt the need to explain "coffin birth" when details of the Laci Peterson case came to light, I was equally disgusted.

All for the sake of ratings?

Post what you think of it Lainey. I got a real kick out of it. I only have watched about 3 or 4 of them, and 3 or 4 House episodes too, so I don't know what's new and what's a rerun.

Valentine, last night was the first time I saw the beginning of House, where it mentions that it's about Dr. House. That's why I never knew that's why it was called House.

Lat night, when I was at the gym, the TV news said there was a train wreck and a 12 year-old boy was killed. Then, 5 hours later, The TV news said the boy had jumped onto the rear bumper, of the front dump of a two dump, dirt hauler and fell off, getting run over by the second part of the dirt hauler. The driver most likely never even knew the boy had been there or had been run over. There were kids playing in a new construction area and this kid jumped on as the truck rounded a corner. I wonder what the story will be in today's newspaper.
