I truly am blessed.
We have a jennair cook-top, the kind with the grill inserts.
beneath the heating element there are the faux-rocks-grill metal plates.
regardless of cleaning method it's a bear to get the cooked on yuck off of them.
The +1 hates when I cook that way for that reason.
But I don't have that Y chromosome for nothing.
So it's out into the driveway with ye old trusty Honda 2400 PSI pressure washer and blip crud's gone in an instant.
A little cleanup with the 150 PSI air hose and they're clean as a whistle.
How many guys get to clean up with that kind of power?

I didn't do anything nearly that dramatic, but this past spring I got to scrub about 5 years worth of moss and mildew off of the back and side of my house. Talk about exciting, I got to stand on top of a six foot ladder with a scrubbing brush on the end of a twelve foot extension pole and clean the siding.
Talk about fun, it's clean now, but I can hardly wait the 5 years to do it again.

no no no manual labor is not allowed.
in all seriousness, use a algaecide pretreatment and spray it off with a pressure washer.
just make sure you work from the bottom up so you don't get streaking.

ok so i haven't actually executed that plan.... yet.
the grout is actually more of an issue.
we had a problem with our water softener not removing rust correctly and we got really bad staining.
the elbow grease provided by humble servant did a fairly good job on the tile but not so on the grout which is slightly recessed.
there is some residual and yes I WILL likely use the PC to get to it.
The only reason I haven't done it yet is I don't own a PC buffer.
got lots of other PC tools just not a buffer.( not a wash and wax whacko)
