It astounds me how such ignorant *ssholes on Fox News would make comments which disparage the Canadian military effort and sacrifices in Afghanistan.
The troops are in a very hostile area (Kandahar) and suffer a high percentage of causalities. On the day four more fallen soldiers are brought home, these jerks on the Red Eye show mock our effort in Afghanistan. Fox News has the reputation of biased reporting and misrepresenting of facts, so I shouldn't be surprised by the low level of programming content. Canada has stood shoulder to shoulder with the U.S. in Afghanistan from day one. This show airs about 3 am so the viewership is not great but the Canadian media has brought attention to the comments and America's neighbour to the north is not pleased!

The Red Eye show ain't news--it's a bunch of hacks trying to be funny. Most of the time it doesn't work.

As for biased reporting--pick a channel, any channel...
