I can put you or anyone else on an ignore list as well. It just wouldn't be good practice for a CO to do that. I can also edit and delete your posts before or after shooting you.

 

Who's Doctor Jones? Is s/he on my ignore list and I can't see the good doctor?

Yep, I put people on my ignore list from time to time. It is a handy and welcome little device sometimes. Oh, I only have one name on my list now, but I don't think that poster has been around for a loooooong time.

 

^ Bet I know who that is. I have never put anyone on the Ignore list. During my time as CO, though, I was sorely tempted to a few times. I'm fairly successful at ignoring the offenders without it, I guess.

 

Actually, I'm here quite often.

 

I actually used the button on one person, but not here in Vintage. For me, the most annoying person was someone who responded to every thread (and almost every post) with some sort of smiley and a nonsense comment. It was the internet equivalent of a four year old yelling "me, me, look at me, hey, I'm over here, look at me."
