I love watching this stuff (from afar). Hope folks heeded the evacuation notices. Thanks, Martha?

Amazingly the evacuations are voluntary for the most part the last I heard. If this storm continues to strengthen to a Cat.4 you do not want to ride this out within one hundred miles of the center. Many of the local churches, recreation centers and sports arenas are taking in evacuees.

Stay safe everyone!

Once again, I am soooo glad I don't live on Tiki Island any more. I have a feeling that place might not be there come Sunday. I hope all of you in the area are taking this seriously. Living there for 35 years, I know it's easy to become complacent about these and the constant warnings. Please don't be complacent about this big guy.

That would be the place. My home from 1988-2004 when we moved to Florida. I wonder what that picture would look like on Sunday? Scares the hell out of me frankly.

I'm reminded of the people who rode out Katrina and said next time they would leave when asked/ordered. It is a little scary.
