Default I'm fat!

Gotta lose weight again. O don't need advice on how to lose it. Once I get on my program, I drop it pretty quick. But I come home, eat dinner, eat snacks, and sit on my ample butt and watch TV. I need to get back on the program.

Please provide incentive here.

Thanks.

I'm not a good one to provide it. I've been *really* lazy since I stopped working. Bad, bad MsP.

Maybe we should form a mutual support group

Hmmm. That's about the best I can do right now.

I would add improved overall health and better sexual performance, but we are all still worried about your "I'm up" condition from the other thread so I'll leave that one alone.

I didn't go back to look at that post.

Thanks for the incentive. I used to tell people who paid $700 for carbon fiber hoods to just go on a diet and lose 10 pounds. The health issue is a real one. I feel lousy right now. I know if i get back to my fighting weight I'll feel great.

You want to look good in a bathing suit this summer, right? What more incentive do you need? You need to be buff while cruising in the car or the boat. Save the extra weight on the boat for the fish you plan to catch.

My helpful hint: Exercise first, then eat dinner. It's what we now do and it is easier to stick with the program. Eat less move more. Snacking is a tough one. I was just snacking on celery and carrots sticks....that snack kind of sucked.

Thanks Lainey. Summer is weighing "heavy" on my mind.

I need to get busy again. I was down 50 lbs from my peak last April, but I've put 10 back on. Funny how the 10 makes me feel fat. Can't imagine what I was like 40 lbs heavier.

I was out of work for 9 months and lost about 25 pounds in the process. No magic formula, just not eating like I used to when I worked and swam a hour workout each day. Loss of the job meant no funds for swimming with the workout team, but I still have energy for dancing on a Saturday night.

I have done pretty minor stuff since my "Antarctic Excess" (too much food/ too little exercise w/ the penguins)

-getting regular exercise....1/2 hour swimming most days
-eating smaller snacks....1 hard pretzel instead of a bowl of them
-eating smaller portions at meals
-using artificial sweetener in the COPIOUS cups of tea that I drink each day

...and this is the hardest for me:

-cutting down on SWEET STUFF

I FEEL as is I have lost maybe 5 pounds, but I may be kidding myself. The blue jeans feel a TINY bit looser
