Okay, folks. Time to start again!
I have at least 30 lbs to lose to get back to my pre-Covid weight. Wish me luck!
Good-bye, carbs, at least for a while.

Gene, that’s the exact number of pound I lost in 2020. But I would not advise copying my method of losing them.
BTW I have put ten pounds back on and am at the weight I should be. Wish me success holding it there. I wish you luck and strength getting to your best weight.

Thanks, Dean. Hope you hold your weight goal! Not a pleasant way to lose weight, for sure.

Good luck, Dean, Gene and to all of us.
I went to the 8:00 AM class at the Y today. That takes a bit of effort on a Sunday AM. It was the class which uses a spin bike in increments, along with times off the bike using weights I disliked it the first few times, but decided to accept the challenge. Class options are limited. Happy to say I was "standing" when the instructor was "standing" and seated when she was seated. Still not going at the same pace the rest of the class is but trying.
Now to stop the snacking.....

I think he has left us...at least as far as posting goes. I am still coasting along at about my same weight give or take a couple of pounds. Not worrying too much about it. Mainly concentrating on moving more. It is easy to sit around. I do have my mini trampoline which is getting some use. I can bounce on it or use it as a stair step. It gets the cardio up pretty quickly. And I do arm and leg movements. I have also been doing exercises to improve balance.

I always pick up some weight in winter especially around the holidays. I am about 12# over weight. That weight will disappear once we get to Florida for 2 months. I can ride my bike outside there and play some golf. Then once I get back home the weather will start getting warmer. Good luck Gene.

well, looking at it in a positive light. I don't have to get rid of any weight incurred during covid lockdown.
probably because I was too fat coming in.

Snacking under better control, logging food into fitbit ap is one way to realize how many calories are in a handful of this or that. Also trying not to eat after dinner, well after my allocated handful of M&M's for dessert. I cut back on foods, I don't cut out food. Scale ticking down. Haven't even indulged in my favorite evening snack. to be continued.............

I froze all my Christmas cookies and allow myself one a day. The last one was yesterday. Not snacking after 8pm is taking a lot of will power. I decided I can have a few baby carrots after then. So far so good. Back down to my winter weight. I'm doing a couple of yoga classes a week, but they don't burn as much energy.
