Default I'm sick.

I came down with something Wednesday. I can barely talk, I have a sore throat. I'm coughing up phlegm, my ears hurt, and I'm, dizzy. I feel like crap! This just came on midday Wednesday. I had a long workout at the gym Wednesday morning. I felt great. Then I had lunch with a client in San Bernardino and I started feeling sick and losing my voice then. I haven't felt like this in years. I have to be well by Monday morning. I have two long days in the field, soil vapor investigation, Monday and Tuesday. Any home remedy advice is welcome.

Rapid onset like that, I'd say maybe the flu? Call the doc. If he/she concurs with my diagnosis, (Google MD) one of the flu medications may help you get better quicker, but no cure-all other than rest and fluids....Feel better.

I agree. And stay home. People don't want to get what you got. Hope you feel better.

My family doctor is part of a health system that has a setup that allows you to email him with questions. Which I think is great. I tried it once and got a really quick reply. You might look into that. If so, just repost your question to the doctor.

Had the same problem, took a week to get over. I used Mucinex and it eventually cleared up.

I got it two weeks ago. Most of it went away in a week. The cough just hangs on and on. At least the coughing is only sporadic at the moment.

Sounds like cold. Rest and fluids. Tylenol and Nyquil. Did you get a Flu Shot, last Fall?
