For the most part Honda beat Chevy in qualifying but what was oddest was the fastest Chevy's were the really small teams and not the big guns. Based on that it could be Honda's year at Indy but who knows when it comes to race trim and the race itself.

Sebastien Bourdais underwent successful surgery for pelvic injuries which included multiple fractures to his pelvis and a fracture to his right hip in the incident Saturday. Or as Eddie Cheever would say "He's fine." Eddie considers anything short of death as fine and in the broadest since that's true but Eddie sure lacks bed-side manners.

I'm lucky in that I live in Indy and get to frequent the track regularly. It gives me pride every year to know I live in this city. I still remember the look on my wife's face the first time she saw them come around at full speed. Her mouth was wide open her eyes were popping out of her head and she was giggling.

I agree. Hell, I didn't even like the F1 races I attended there near as much as Indycar.
