It sounds as if you're upset that the site is back up without notifying you which would have been impossible.

I don't read all the forums or announcements but Ms. Perky posted this in the "Shootin' the Breeze" thread yesterday so obviously there was some announcement that the site was going down.

Quote:
Heads up, Y'all...get your post fix today, since the site will be down tomorrow (Sun). Thread in Site Info - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=531804.

Loosen up, so what if it's a business? It's an on-line forum and for heaven's sake they have to do maintenance or upgrades or whatever periodically.

I always feel grumpy when I want to sign on for my S2ki fix and the site is down, but I did read the announcement and to MsP for posting it here. I sometimes forget to read the Site Info section to keep up with what's going on. [Come to think of it, I often am grumpy even when the site is available, you don't suppose its just me, now do you?]

Grumpies...It is back and seems to be very fast, so I'm happy about that. I hear Search is alot better, also. Yes, Emil, it was announced ahead of time in Site Info.

It shouldn't be an either/or, they are both good resources.

Preferably, a 20-year Single Malt from Islay.

Wow. I didn't even know it was down until I read this. I did try to get on and couldn't but I thought it was just an intermittent thing. Good thing I had better things to do.
