Hello to all my Vintage friends! I know I don't post too often over here and when I do it is usually about joining up on one of your adventures with my buddy Maury. Today is a bit different as he has asked me to share some unfortunate news with you guys.

Maury was diagnosed with NON-LIFE THREATENING bladder cancer today. He went for a scope a few weeks ago due to some pain he was feeling and the doctors discovered a mass. They thought it was cancer but the results weren't confirmed until today. He will be going back for surgery sometime in the next two weeks at which point they hope to remove the mass without affecting the bladder. Should that fail they will have to regroup and possibly remove the bladder.

Obviously Maury was hoping that the scope would come back negative but that wasn't the case. He and Beth would appreciate your thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks/months as they deal with this.

Feel free to leave notes of encouragement below or pop on over to our home page (Allegheny S2Ki).

Maury, so sorry to hear this.

Wishing you well and thinking positive thoughts. My brother in law also had bladder cancer a few years ago. He had great results with the initial surgery. Hoping the same for you.

Maury, you've certainly had a rough time for the past few months. Bea and I are thinking of you and wish you the best.
