Joe Cocker died in 2014. I do miss him 'though. "You are So Beautiful" was the song my wife and I danced to at our wedding.

 

Ahhhh, that's what happens when your friends post on Facebook, and you are still asleep.
Paul Kantner did die though.

 

Loved Joe Cocker. Up Where We Belong is one of my fave songs.

 

When I think of Joe Cocker "Delta Lady" is the song that I think of. One of his best.

When I think of Joe Cocker, the first thing that comes to mind is his performance of Little Help from My Friends at Woodstock (from the film, I was in USAF tech school at that time.) But I really liked his definitive version of Randy Newman's "You Can Leave Your Hat On".

With Paul Kantner it's the Blows Against the Empire concept album Pual recorded with Grace Slick.
