I wonder what the error was. Since it was an ad he could have simply corrected the error. I wonder if he sold it and is just trying to avoid a payment to eBay?

Unless you absolutely love doing the work yourself, which I get, just buy one restored. They are not worth the time and money that goes into a complete restoration. They were very low production and they do not have great aftermarket support in this country.

I don't mean to suggest it is not worth buying. I wish I bought one a few years back when you could get them for $10K. But the people I have talked with will tell you that sourcing parts is a bit of a chore and the work can require a lot of patience. And unless you are a body man that can do it himself, the body shop is going to charge you $20 to $25K for a proper strip down, repair and respray.
