Killing the auto speculators.
I was just looking at an article where a ahem shmuck gentlemen is selling his place in line to get a new NSX.
He only wants a hundred grand for you to move up to his spot.
I have a little heartache with that behavior.
So whaddaya think. I think if you smack down the deposit you have to either:
A. take delivery of the car in your name which forces whoever buys it from you to be buying a used car.
or B. cancel your order and let the next guy in...
thoughts?

Sadly this happens a lot with these higher level cars. It's why Ferrari had a clause in the la Ferrari that your weren't allowed to sell it for a certain period of time. Early on there is higher demand than supply so it's easy to flip the car. I would hope Honda would see this and drop him and move everyone up a spot but they likely don't care.
Flipping is part of the game. Why would the manufacturer care if you sell the car on their parking lot during dealer delivery? Heck this happens with tickets for concerts and sporting events. Sold out means nothing. You can always get tickets (or the car) if you have enough money and desire.
There's even a television channel dedicated to this! Speed is all about this. Was about speed and racing years ago but is all sales auctions, etc. now. When it was really Speed it covered power boats and even high performance sail boats which are athletic in the extreme.
