Default Kudos to Sharper Image

Very late on Friday night I FINALLY found a gift item that I want to surprise my +1 with on Christmas Day. We usually do not exchange gifts since we generally get what we need/want all through the year and rather than just pick something we really don't want, we made a pact YEARS ago to forget it. However, this year I really wanted to get him something he'd enjoy, so I finally found what I wanted in the Sharper Image catalog. I hopped online after +1 was asleep and placed the order. Shipping was free, so I figured I'd be quite lucky if it arrived late on Christmas Eve or maybe . . . after Christmas . IT CAME TODAY!!!!! YAY -- How great is that???? ONLY TWO BUSINESS DAYS!!! I was so thrilled that I ran outside and gave the UPS guys a plate of homebaked pecan chocolate chip cookies. They were happy too. Kudos to Sharper Image!!

I think Val will make us wait to find out. Her +1 lurks here from time to time.

Got the steamer from Sharper Image for the "plus 1" a while back. Coolest (er- hottest) way to clean the kitchen, bath, etc...

I wasn't going to post thinking +1 may lurk, however, he's on vacation the rest of the year and his computer activities are being monitored by ME. I got him a shiatsu massage bed rest that has a built-in reading light and even a little cupholder. It has nice arm rests with little side pockets where he can stash his book. He can get a nice little back massage as he reads if he wants to. He loves little gadgets and particularly has an affinity for little reading lights, so when I saw that little gooseneck high intensity reading light made into the side I knew he'd love it. Our bed has a wooden headboard and positioning pillows for sitting up to read is a pain in the neck (literally). The fabric is a nice little faux suede that will be quite comfy. Now that I'm describing it, I kind of wish I'd gotten two. Here's a picture/description:

Sweet, Val. The only problem with me is that I would be asleep sitting up all night. Might help the snoring, though.

Hey Val, my wife bought me a massage mattress a few years back for Xmas from the Sharper Image. I laughed it off when I saw it. You know what. I love it. Any time I'm sore from over working or just having a restless night............. it's great and doesn't need quarters.
