It seems that his pneumonia progressed into sepsis , he had conditions for a couple weeks, I can't believe he let it go that long without some kind of treatment.

I was reminded of the opening ceremonies at the Indy 500 when they play TAPS and 365,000 people are so quiet that one can hear a pin drop. As it should be.

May he rest in peace.

So many are saying that they are looking forward to his son driving when he gets old enough. I think that is a bit presumptuous, While that would be great there are so many kids of famous athletes and people who don't follow in the footsteps of their parents, and those who do often do not reach the levels of success expected of them. It's a hard life making a living in racing, maybe the mother will have more to say about that and I hope the boy has a back-up plan.

Kyle Busch’s son, Brexton Busch, mainly races in micro sprint and junior dirt racing classes right now. He’s competed in:
  • 600cc Winged Micro Sprint races at tracks like Millbridge Speedway
  • Junior Sprint classes at events such as the Tulsa Shootout
  • Multiple youth dirt racing divisions since starting racing in 2020 at age 5
He’s also beginning to move into Late Model stock car racing. Reports earlier this year said he would race in the JR Late Model division at Madera Speedway in 2026, which is considered a major step toward NASCAR-style stock cars.

Brexton has already built a pretty serious résumé for his age, with dozens of wins in youth dirt racing.

That is impressive for his age, maybe it is just me but this seems like a lot of pressure for an 11 year old , they put them into those cars pretty young.
