Unhappy Labyrinth

Last evening two friends from my 'mens group' met at our church to Walk the Labyrinth. I'm not an overly spiritual person, but it was very meaningful for me....many ways to experience it. I was the one who initiated this meeting....some of our group were hesitant and didn't show up; others just refused.

If you've never heard about this before, here is a very neat site It has both a history section and an interactive section Take a look.....

How about you?

Has anyone else walked the labyrinth
What did you experience?

Here is even more info

my wife and I walked the Labyrinth at the Chartres Cathedral in France. It was for us a special experience, words cannot describe it.

Chartres for those who are not familiar with it and are interested in click here http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Ch..._Cathedral.html

Our church's labyrinth pattern is the same as the one in Chartres.....but it's canvas and not carved into the stone floor

Jerry:
Just walked one a month or so ago, it was surprisingly moving or maybe I just needed the catharsis among other things. It's really too personal to share on an open forum, so I'll shoot you a PM soon (way too busy these days!).

It was also made from the one @ Chartres; it was about 40' x 40', pretty awesome and mystical. Will definitely do it again whenever I have the chance.

Thumbs down

Dex- This was the second time that I've done it. One other guy (a 9-11 WTC survivor) has done it 5-6 times, but it was the first time for the 3rd guy.

Yes, it's a personal experience, but almost always a positive one.....sometimes emotional depending on your state of mind. You can feel a little bit like this ==>
Waiting for PM.....
