Aside from being a visionary in the auto industry he was a superb salesman/marketer. If not for him there would be no Chrysler. "If you can find a better car, buy it"

And lf not for him America's most important symbol, The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, might be in a terrible state of disrepair.

Classic American story of rags to riches. He had the drive and the ability to excel and he never lost what was really important in life to boot.

I had an aunt that died of Parkinson's. Tough cross to bear.
