I have been watching this year's LLWS, and I must say, there is much more action and excitement there than with the "pros."

Seeing the commitment and fan participation, I have a lot of faith in our youth. Do you agree? Comments?

Its all those crazy parents cheering their kid on hoping a pro scout will see them and sign them to a large contract!!

 

I thought LLWS stood for low level windshear warning system.

 

there was an interesting background story on the Dragons in today's Philly Inquirer "Currents" section.

the diverse team from Philly is from a former tough Irish neighborhood under the South Street bridge. if I find a link later, i'll post a linky....or maybe Gene can find it.
