Default Locking threads - members can delete now vs lock

Just a FYI.

Sometimes we lock threads we start due to lots of pages, or for other reasons.

That is no longer allowed, however you can delete them.

Here's Cthree's response when the topic was raised in site info. Also, the "edited by" line was not an option for a while. That has been resolved. You can select it or not when editing a thread.

You cannot lock or unlock your own threads anymore (lock and unlock are one privilege). It negated a moderator's ability to keep a topic locked. The starter, if a member, could (and in one case did - repeatedly) unlock it.

Members can remove the Edited By legend. There was a little confusion there. It is resolved.

Members may delete their own topics. We have the ability to undelete them if necessary to avoid losing important content.
