After many years we had to put one of our cats down today.

She had stopped eating and had a very hard time even standing.

For us our cats are like kids. We never had children, so they become our little pals.

Chewy was a very funny looking persian that we adopted about 13 years ago. She was smart and clever and could always figure out how to get away with the things she should get in trouble for.

Today is a sad day for me and Nancy.

You are in the same situation as Rose and I we have 3 cats we consider our kids. I dread the day when we have to put them down.

My condolences. My first cat died 3 days before her 19th birthday. She was a cantankerous old girl from the start. My second cat had to be put down when she was about 17 due to severe arthritis. I miss them both terribly.
