The loss of a sister
Last night we knew my sister would not want us to sit around crying. Off we went to local places she loved. Alcohol and food. A kind woman took our photo. All of us pictured spent time with her this week
Lainey, I just got home from a funeral for a cousin, and last week a memorial for my sister-in-law. None were as close as your sister to you, but I sorta know how you feel. Keep the happy memories of your sister in the front of your mind. I'm sorry.
Lainey and Rick, we are so very sorry for your loss. Wish we had the right words to somehow ease your heartache.
Sounds like you had picked a terrific Sister.
Best to you all in the coming days of working through your grief.

This carries with it my condolences on the loss of your sister. I know too well how you feel. My baby sister passed away during an epileptic event in March of 2015. I trust that after the grieving abates that you, too, will fill your memories with all of the great and warm moments that are so precious.
Thank you all. The kind words are appreciated. We have been busy going to the places she loved. Huntington Beach in Murrrels inlet today. I almost felt guilty bringing my camera along. As if it would not be right to do something I enjoy so soon. But I know that is not what she would want. So I hope to have bird photos to share when I return. Maybe she had a hand in the many birds who were waiting for me and my camera. This was followed by a walk on the most beautiful beach. Lots of tears were shed but I find peace on the beach. She was with me. We are stopping at Val's tomorrow for hugs
