Default MAC NOTEBOOK

I've wanted a notebook/laptop for sometime and just bought a Mac Notebook (13.3) yesterday from Best Buy. I'm loading supplied software along with 09 iWork. Any suggestions on switching from a PC desktop to the new notebook?

Good question. I guess the question is, "Did you buy the notebook in order to free yourself from your desk?" If so, you don't need much.

If not, you may want to consider a laptop stand that puts the screen closer to your eyes and an optional full-sized keyboard for when you use it on the desk.

Otherwise, a nice travel case, some 16Gig SD cards and/or portable USB memory stick would be nice, IMO.

Buy a copy of MS Office for Macs. I use a MacBook Pro almost exclusively and couldn't function without Office.

I found a 32 Gig thumb drive at Frys.

I bought it to stop being at my desk for hours at a time looking at walls...
