So it would be wrong for me to post "I pray to my Allah, Shiva, and my Christian God that the Democrats and/or Republicans and/or Green Party can reverse this trend which is obviously a Communist plot designed to weaken our great country."

Our position in the middle class started to shrink back in '08 with the recession. Maybe we aren't middle class anymore? 
To complicate matters, I have been told by my doctor that I too am shrinking............I used to be 5'. If this keeps up, I will soon be buying my clothing in the little girls section.
