Miles per gallon.
I'm a little disappointed. I've kept meticulous records since buying the car so I know exactly how many miles per gallon I am getting.
As of this afternoon, I have put 14,443 miles on the car, and have used 641.93 gallons of gas for an average mpg of 22.50. As I said, I am a little disappointed. I thought my long term average would be somewhere in the 25 to 27 mpg range.
How are you doing (actual or estimate)? How do you feel about your mpg?

I went for a drive today (moderate) and got 25.9 MPG.
On my last trip to NY I got 33 MPG
At FCT04 on the track at Beaverun I was short shifting at 8K (after all this is my daily driver) and got about 14 MPG.

I have not kept detailed records since buying the car. However, I did keep records last April when I drove across the United States (both directions) on vacation. I averaged 29.54 mpg for a little over 9200 miles. That did include one tank of better than 33 mpg. Of the 36 tanks of gas, 14 were better than 30 mpg. That said, I would guess that my average would be between 24 and 25 mpg. Nothing I would complain about considering the performance nature of the car.
Just broke 20,000 miles last week, and I am pretty much in the same boat as you. Overall average around 22 mpg -- but that is including the occasional track day where my mileage foes down to 6 mpg (yeah, like that is going to make that much of a difference
).
On longer drives I get around 30-32 mpg, and oddly enough my fuel economy seems to go up when I am in regions with 91 octane premium fuel rather then the 93 octane fuel. I seem to get decent mileage when setting the cruise control around 85 mph and coasting along in 6th gear.
I did mostly suburban driving with the car, and I figure that my mileage sucks due to (a) stop-n-go traffic and (b) shorter trips where the engine does not really warm up enough to use the fuel efficiently. Oh, and life in VTEC land is rather expensive, too. It's not always a good thing to have an interstate in front of your house.

I average between 22-24mpg with normal driving and get between 26-28mpg average with hiway driving. The best I have even gotten was crossing the desert in CA, hit 31mpg with speed at about 85mph avg. and wind to my back. Worst mileage was 18mpg, lots of VTEC.
BTW - Honda states, 20 city and 25 hiway for MY04

I have a 47 mile round trip on I-95 for work each day, an average 22-24mpg. I thought I would be getting better gas mileage. The irony is that my 1971 TR-6 (straight 6) gets better gas milage (26-27 mpg) than than the S-2000. Vic
