Thumbs up Milk in cereal

OK, it's Friday. Here's a real nonsense poll for you.

I eat cereal for breakfast fairly often. This morning I put too much milk in my cereal. It seemed like I really had to fish around for the cereal, so I poured some of the milk out.

So, do you drown your cereal in milk, do you put just a little milk so you still get the "crunch factor" of the cereal, or perhaps you never eat cereal at all.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Cereal!!

I forgot about cereal. I've been trying to think of what to have for breakfast and drawing a blank. Seriously. Do you think my dad's Alzheimer's is kicking in on me already?

BTW, what kind of cereal, do you like? I've been going for Kashi GO LEAN because it's high in fiber and protein while low in calories, and gets me more for my points on Weight Watchers.

We always have Cheerios in the house. Grandson LOVES Cheerios. I did too as a kid. I buy the Regulars ones, Honey Nut, Multi Grain is a new favorite, and last night we picked up the ones with Bananas in them....haven't tried it yet though.

I also keep shredded wheat around, and Raisin Nut Bran. I don't like to eat the same thing every day.

Right now I have some fresh strawberries in the house, so tomorrow AM will likely be Cheerios or Shredded Wheat with strawberries.

Plus I drink/eat unflavored soy milk. Yum!

Since I started looking at the nutritional propaganda I am down to Cheerios and Shredded Wheat (original big biscuits). Ocassionally I add some Grape Nuts, Corn Flakes, or Wheat Chex to the mix and rarely I buy Raisin Bran (9 grams of sugar per serving).

Does anyone use sugar on the unsweetened cereal? Rick eats plain Cheerios with no sugar. I like them sweeter and use a sugar substitute on them. Shredded wheat gets two packets of sugar substitute.

If there's milk leftover I just tilt up the bowl and drink it.
