Default Mr. Klutz strikes again!

I tripped and fell, in front of the Glendale Fire Department, where I was going to review an underground storage tank file, and dislocated and fractured the middle finger of my right hand. I also banged up my head, arm, and leg. I'm just getting back from Emergency, where I've been most of the day. Cat scan of my brain was OK.

Hope you aren't too sore tomorrow! So is your middle finger all bandaged and well, are you giving everyone the finger?

Sorry to hear that. The only better place to do that would be in front of the emergency room!!

According to the hospital report, the paramedics said I was in shock. My finger was grossly bent out of shape but I wasn't feeling much pain. My finger is in a splint and I see a hand surgeon tomorrow. The police took a detailed report. Apparently, they were worried I was going to sue the city (I'm not). I'm still in quite a lot of pain.

Was that before you got the ER bill?

Hope you get some pain relief after your appointment with the hand surgeon tomorrow.
