I always turn the water off to the complete house when we are gone for more than a day.

He has to refill the cistern from the Ute Reservation water supply. And it's "your." \Grammar Nazi

BP has been fracking for natural gas in this area of Colorado for years now and have depleted or polluted the aquifers, so that most of the neighborhood wells are useless. We all have cisterns. But the county is working on piping water into this part of rural La Plata Cty.

I took the opportunity to treat the cistern to eliminate any possible odors that come from storing the water for some months. It’s all good now. I was worried for a while because the water pressure would not come back up, but I figured out how to reset it and cancelled the service call. Everything works again now.

They stripped out all of the hardwoods in the damp areas and the carpenters will replace the whole first floor after my visitors have gone.

The big ass (not Big Ass) lol big fans (14 fans altogether) are extremely noisy, and the bigger ones have heaters in them. They say the heat is necessary for pulling the moisture out of the floor) Couldn’t sleep last night from the noise. It stays hot inside all the time - even at night. It will take 3 or 4 days to dry the floor out. They keep treating it with chemicals to kill the mold and odors.

What a shame but sounds like you've got a company that knows what they are doing. Maybe Patricia will tell you where she hides the key and you can stay are her house for a couple days.

Haha
I happen to have a Cadillac of a tear drop trailer out there. Gonna be camping out a few days longer... It gets down into the 40s at night here now.
