Life can be so fickle. sometimes folks walk away from calamitous crashes unscathed while others never get up from an innocuous fall.

Sorry to hear this Deb, and especially with a daughter the exact same age

She is on the "other end of death" as an ordained minister and hospice chaplain. Her saddest patients are also those in their 30s or 40s, but at least there is a period of preparation for the person and time for family/friends to say goodbye.
