Exclamation My new Ticker.....

There have been complaints about my 'old' ticker.....left over from Watkins Glen

How do you like my new one?

Why not do your very own ticker to share your hopes and dreams?

LOL

Actually since Bush can't run it really isn't political, it is a fact.

Stop by at the Greeks, Chris, and we'll talk about it

Btw, did you know that the Narberth Borough Coucil is now TOTALLY Blue, plus a Dem Mayor It's hard to believe that the 'old boy' ways of the Main Line have bitten the dust, and Progressive younger folks are running the show. Things were not bad, but are now looking even better!

Does this mean your guys will lobby to overturn those archaic, stupid PA blue laws? That would win my vote.

I'll actually be in town this weekend, but just a quick trip for a wedding Sat in KoP and showing the gf's parents around Philly Sunday; they need me to prove to them that a Pat's steak is better than Geno's, even if Geno's does have that infamous sign hanging up that we agree with. I might have to get a Geno's steak too just to show my support

Congratulations on your wedding, Chris.....it's about time

Blue Laws: Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not aware that there are still blue laws in effect in Peeay....maybe in some of the smaller redneck communities out in central part of the Commonwealth. Btw, I would think that you, Ralph and Rick would support 'Keeping Sunday for the Sabbath".....

Haha, not MY wedding...but my engagement will be in the next 6 months, provided I get a job and SOON.

The blue laws I was referring to are:

-Can't buy less than a case of beer except at restaurants
-Can't buy beer and liquor in the same store
-Can't buy more the XXX amount of beer and YYY amount of liquor
-Can only buy liquor at state stores ($$$$)

Etc.

Maybe there is a more accurate phrase than "blue laws" but those kinds of arbitrary laws bugged the crap out of me. "Whaddya mean I can't buy a 6er? Okay, fine, I'll buy a case, but I'm drinking it ALL tonight! That'll show you guys!"

But remember, I'm one of those "free market, strong foreign policy" conservatives, not a pro-life bible-thumper. And I like to buy beer on Sundays, if the mood strikes me

I realize that this may come as somewhat of a surprise to some people: But, I have issues with "King George" my self.

I will not politicized this with further comment.
