You're both wrong. Hoffa is the Loch Ness Monster. Always was, always will be. Just ask anyone who crossed the teamsters in those days.

As for the end zone in the Meadowlands, there are plenty of bodies there, but Hoffa's isn't one of them.
Rob,

I knew that I should not have told you about my book in progress on "Conspiracy Theories" at Spring Fling 05. I guess that you let it slip to Ulrich that I was working on a book that would tie all of this together?

Don't worry Ulrich, I don't blame you for this thread.

Rob, I do want to thank you for trying to throw people off now that you have let my "cat out of the bag" so to speak by posting that Hoffa IS the Loch Ness Monster even though there is about fourteen hundred years between the first recorded sightings of "Nessy" and the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. I do appreciate you trying to throw the others off so that I can get my book published that ties all of these theories together into one cohesive logical plot.

Ever see the movie "Amazon Women On The Moon"? It promotes the best ever theory involving Nessie. According to them, Nessie is also ... wait for it ... Jack The Ripper. One of the funniest scenes in a very funny movie.

You're welcome, I think.

Matt,

I heard that you sold the publication rights to your book to the New York Times.

Rob,

You do always know how to get the last "irratating" word in don't you?

If I get around to it. I will post a brief of my forecoming book in the next day or two.

Rob,

I think that it is interesting that NPR does not list or nor is it searchable a link to the piece that aired yesterday about the NY Times Magazine writer that was fired for fabricating a story about child slavery in Africa.

So, no. In my opinion, I would not have sold the rights (or lefts, for that matter) to the NY Times.

On the other hand. They did do the admirable thing by firing him for fabricating a story. But, should they have published it in the first place? I put this in the same category of Newsweek publishing an unsubstantiated story that caused riot and fourteen deaths in Afghanistan. In my opinion, that is NOT responsible journalism.

Actually, he did not. But if you need a qualified collaborator for your book, I can help. One of my, uhm, friends is a published author as well as a self-proclaimed expert on the JFK assassination. I'll be happy to have him get in touch with you to assist in checking into a looney bin, uhm, I mean to finish your writing.

You forgot, "Is Area 51 just a ruse to distract us from the real goings-on in Area 52?"

It's where aliens are raising the Hoffa/Nessie love child.

Newspapers are like any other business. They have to operate with some trust in their employees or else face paralysis. Unfortunately, there will always be some people who will have ethical lapses.
