Default Mystery in a Bottle

I bought a couple bottles of Tabasco Bloody Mary Mix yesterday. When I got home, I noticed this. I have no clue what it is other than it floats and the other side of it looks like the bottom of a jellyfish.

I dropped the Tabasco folks an email and they'd like to send it back which I will. Hopefully I'll get a nice little gift from McIlhenny.

You ever find anything like that? I was hoping for an eyeball.

I bet you its a chunk of mold or a fungus growing.

I once had the same thing with a bottle of Snapple. I called, they said it happens when some air gets into the product by accident on the line or after.

They sent me some coupons no questions asked.

It's like the Guinness beer can widget to carbonate your Tabasco and give it a better head.

Sounds like a) They didn't WANT to tell you what it was and b) they were really sorry their product got out that way.

Of course the problem was you got the mild stuff. Nothing could grow or live in the full strength mix.
