Needs your prayers
Grant only posts of the Political forum these days. For those who do not go there I wanted to share the message he just posted.
I'm currently sitting in the Cleveland Clinic in Weston Fl. They're flying in a surgeon from Cleveland to join the surgical team. They are trying a similar procedure to what Harry had. Things are not looking good. I've got a 20% shot at survival.Danger score 8. The infection has moved to my heart. They've stopped it but it's already done the damage. I originally thought I'd be taken out by my little toe. Now they're calling it broccoli. If I don't show up again, assume the worst. There may be one of the prettiest and best maintained Corvettes on earth for sale soon. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it. fltsfshr |

OMG...now I see the connection between the heart and foot. I am pulling for you, Grant. You have all my best to pull through. If anyone can, it is you!!!!!!!! :fingerscrossed:

I'm not sure I'm getting the connection.. Is it a circulatory issue in foot, lead to infection now systemic? Grant will be in my thoughts. Please keep us posted and pass along my thoughts, Dave.

^ He stepped on something while out fishing on the flats and his foot got infected. His little toe had to be amputated and he had antibiotic infusion for some weeks. He thought it was cleared up but it was not. It spread to his heart.

I lock horns with him almost every day in the Politics forum, and I hope to be able to continue to lock horns with him for a very long time. We disagree on almost every issue, but this one. Politics aside, I'm praying that he recovers and does well. Damn it, make sure you get well, we need you to give us someone on the other side to fight with.
