Default New Baby

Yesterday, Valentine's Day, the grand daughter downloaded a baby boy. Yes, that is the very same grand daughter that fell off of her flip-flops while talking on her pocket phone a couple of years ago.

I have not heard much out of the proud grandparents, yet. I do know that the download did take a couple of days.

I did learn that it is OK for me to talk about Karla dowloading the baby, but I catch hell if I say Karla is farrowing.

Been a busy week. Great Grandma (my wifely unit) got a new hip Tuesday.

Congratulations!

And how is your "wifely unit" doing after her surgery. Please give her our best wishes for complete and speedy recovery!

Congrats. You should have heard the hell I caught when my daughter called after giving birth to my grandson. She described the whole experience as long and painful and I told her that babies almost always go in a lot easier than they come out. I though it was a rather sage observation, but I think I was totally alone in that assessment.

Thank you Mr. Dean. I think your observation is quite accurate and I can not imagine anyone giving you an argument. I will have to point that fact out to grand daughter and inquire just why her parents never informed her of that fact.

As far as the wife's new hip - surgeon was very pleased with the way the surgery went. Healing process seems to be going as advertised. There is a minor glitch with the physical therapy. My wife has birth defects in her hands and suffers from Arthrogryposis and Arthritis. She is not able to support much of her weight with her arms, so she is not progressing as quickly as expected with her therapy. Instead of coming home today, she is going to a rehabilitation facility for more intense therapy.

Congrats! Hope evryone is in good health and Great Grandmaw gets wells soon.

I think Dean's advice is perfect. I could have used that line 20 years ago for my daughters. They did all make it through until they were married, but that was another threat that wasn't as simple ;~)
