Default New features of S2Ki

Thought I would start a thread on new features, in case some of you haven't noticed them. I just found the "New Poll" button at the top of the page, and the little up arrow at the lower right corner of posts. When you click on the arrow, it takes you back to the top of the thread. Both very ! If anyone else spots something new, post about it here!

I noticed an interesting feature that appeared when I was writing a post. Before I could hit the "add reply" button, I received a notification telling me that someone had sent me a PM. When I closed the notification to finish my post, everything that I had written had vanished. OUCH!

I hate when that happens.

Also, I will remind people that if you are going to author a post that is a big "long winded" do it in Word Pad or Word and then cut and paste it here. I have been bumped for inactivity more than once while typing a long response and have lost it all.

I like that new up arrow. I didn't notice it.

I don't see the album button anymore. I guess since it didn't work any way, it's not a loss.

That up-arrow is especially helpful on our Vintage Politics forum, where the pull-down menu at the bottom of a thread won't take you back to the Politics forum directory, but the links at the very top of a page will. (The browser back arrow will do this, depending on where you've been recently, but it doesn't always automatically refresh the forum directory. The link will, if your broweser is set to do that.) HPH
