Thanks, Deb. Any bets the above dates will be met?

Well, I said those were the dates...I didn't make any predictions about post-implementation! To be determined...

Deb,

Can you go into the Magic Kingdom and ask if the conversion process is what's making the site dog slow and go down? I wonder if they are testing the new version on the production servers. . I didn't see any announcements in site info.

Well, I just posted on the CO Forum about what cthree said in response to my Site Info question. I can't believe the mods would be testing on the production server!! Yikes...But perhaps some work is being done in prep for the implementation and that is slowing things down. Just speculation on my part.

Well something has this puppy slowed to a crawl. I 'specialy can't reply to PM's and edit my posts today. Tried it on the wireless too with similiar results.

Deb, tell us that the ppd thing has been done away with!! Please!!

Well, it's been slow for me today, but not totally bad. Not sure which PPD thing you are talking about but I think the current rule is 15 secs between postings for gold members (regardless of PPD?) and for regular members it's 20-30 PPD: 60 seconds; 30+ PPD: 120 seconds; 40+ PPD: forget it - something like 15 minutes. Who knows in v4...

I was hoping rather that the ppd statistic would no longer appear. I mean it was fun getting to 3 ppd, but often this gets out of hand, sometimes by people who don't even know what an S2000 looks like, much less be willing to contribute to the board's support.

But I'm probably in the minority - again.

Hmmmm...not sure that is going to happen. But then, I'm not privy to the changes.

MSPerky . . . .

You said the change is going to happen May 1 and then said this Thursday. Out here in the Great Northwest May 1st is on Saturday. Are things really that different down south?

(Please don't slap me to hard . . . I didn't have the patience tonight to read the whole thread)
