Nice First World Problem to Have!
As a former General Aviation pilot and an "Aviation Geek" I found this video interesting. I have had the experience (when I was gainfully employed) of flying on the Secretary of the Army's Gulfstream G-4. It is the highest and the fastest that I have ever been. On the second flight we were at 41,000 feet and with a tail wind had a ground speed of 761 MPH.
These two new entries into to the private jet world are rather impressive.
Any thoughts or comments?

A good friend I have known since 3rd grade from Coronado (Dad was shot down and killed in Vietnam) wound up as CEO for two companies, one was in Australia. Now retired. At our latest get together he told me about his PJs or private jets. He said he writes a check for $750,000 each year to a company that flies him, and guests, anywhere domestically as much as he wants. Pick him up and drop him off at airports. No security, no BS, easy peasy.

Hah, When we bought our first house, after closing and going out to dinner we went back to sit in our empty house, still in awe of actually owning our own house.
It was at that moment a C-130, then another and then another flew in low overhead.
They were doing night drop practice at nearby Ft Devens.
We were about to panic, " oh my what have we done?" but it was an infrequent event.

As a result of a true "first world" problem he sold it because it did NOT have enough range to fly his wife non-stop from VA to their house in Costa Rica (one of the five houses they own). He bought her a membership in Net Jets to fly on a Gulf Stream.
