Default Nice ride home...

Tonight I took the +1 to a fairly expensive restaurant downtown for his birthday. We came out to hail a cab and the valet directed us to this really beautiful car at the curb. I thought it must be a car owned by the restaurant for the clientele. So we got in. It took me a few minutes discussion with the driver to realize that it was a limo service - a very nice limo service. The car was a Maybach! The driver reclined the seat for me. It had a fantastic stereo system. I was tempted to ride around all night in that car. The +1 had never heard of Maybach. Anyhoo, we had a wonderful ride home for about twice the cost of a cab. Not bad...

What a treat...luckily it's not a far ride from most of the downtown hotspots!

Happy happy to Vito, too

It's been announced Maybach production will end in a year or so due to poor sales.

Yeah, I saw that. I would probably give this guy a call again, though, if I wanted limo service. He definitely knew how to schmooze. The color was this light bronze metallic. It was a really gorgeous car.

That's about 400 more than I feel I need.
