What do you think about THIS ? Just another way that Steve Jobs was innovative, or living above the law? Could you or I get away with this? What do you think?

I think not.

The way I read it anyone could if they were willing to buy a new car every 6 months and he could afford to buy one every 6 seconds if he wanted.

I'm guessing self insured as well.
usually insurance is tied to the registration which obviously he had no interest in.

now that his behavior is public how long do you think it will be before some of the hollywood types adopt the model.

prediction: CA changes legislation quickly, after all, they are losing out on those revenues.

In MA if I recall correctly you have 10 days.

Looks like that is the case, but parking in a handicapped spot? He could have just had a "reserved" parking space.

As more info comes out, it appears he was an odd duck. Lots of smart people are. He had food issues as well, would only eat apples for a time, then he'd move on to another food. The food issues didn't help when he was dealing with cancer, surgery and recovery.

Doesn't sound like he'd win an award for the most likable guy, but I doubt he cared much about that.

I wish I could have caught him at it. People who do that where I work come to despise me very quickly. I caught up with a mail carrier who did it while delivering the mail to my building a couple of weeks ago. I don't think I've received a single piece of mail since.

I guess he didn't get attached to his cars.

Yahoo! took the link down, for whatever reason. HPH

Edit: OK, it's back.

Unfortunately, most of them are in China. The I-Phone has contributed over two billion dollars to the Chinese economy. Hmm, an American company, American innovation, American technology, why not make it here and put some people to work? ONE WORD =

I found an interesting article that speaks to some of the above. Yes, Apple employs twice as many foreign workers as it does American workers (which is a large number (more than 11,000), but the Americans make twice as much money. It can be found here:
