Default Oh the humanity....

http://www.businessinsider.com/bourb...coming-2014-11

it appears that there is a pending bourbon shortage.

I was actually talking about this topic a week or so at the package store.
I commented that the price of a good scotch had gone up dramatically over the last few years.
His take was that the Chinese are buying everything up that is high end; Scotch, Bourbon and Whiskey.

It isn't just the Chinese... Japan has been importing a lot of bourbon the last few years.

I think my Makers Mark 1.75L bottles has gone from $48 to about $52 over the past year or two.....

And I've had one time that the place I buy it from... The Party Source was out.

I always keep at least one spare bottle in the basement.... in case we get snowed in!
