Scanners are not expensive anymore. Save the money to pay someone to do the scanning, and get a scanner for yourself!

Wow, guys...these are great photos. I have so many but I don't know how to get them put on CD to upload. I don't have a scanner. Can I take them somewhere to have them scanned?
This was the first convertible I ever owned.
MGB was originally yellow but I really wanted the British Racing Green. This was a fun car to drive except I kept losing a tail light lens. For some reason it didn't fit right and would work itself lose and fall off somewhere along the road. I never knew when and every time I checked, it was tight. I probably bought 5 or 6 during the 3 years I owned the car.
This photo was made to show the car-port I built in the backyard of the first house my wife and I bought but it is the only photo of the MGB I could find except for the one with the snow...
Good photos. I'm in the process of replacing my broken scanner; hope to have one soon. There are lots in the $70 to $100 range. But, I do a lot of scanning and I'm looking for something better. PC World is recommending Canon 5000F as tops in their tests. I bought a Epson 1670 two days ago but already took it back. The process to do a partial scan to printer was unreal. Anyways, keep those vintage photos coming.
Here are a couple of me in my early "auto-enthusiast" days. The first was taken in appx. 1982, with me behind the wheel of our Datsun 120Y coupe back in England.
The second is a picture of me and mum getting into our then new, Ford Escort 1.3 Ghia back in '84. Again, note, I'm on the drivers side!
This is only a few years old but it shows three of the vehicles I keep around to drive when the weather is not "convertible" enough. 'Ol Whitey, my '62 Ford, the '89 Silverado I let my son drive, and the '83 Toyota I use as my "beater."
I can't believe I insure 5 vehicles for a family of three!
