Default Old soldiers never die

You know...like...

Old bankers never die. They just lose interest.

Old musicians never die. They just decompose.

Old golfers never die. They just lose their balls.

etc.

The "Any Retired Engineers here" thread got me thinking about this. Got any good ones?

When a soldier looses his rifle, he has to pay for it.
That explains why a Captain always goes down with his ship.

Old truckers never die, they just get a new Peterbilt (it's a brand of truck - or used to be).
