Default Olympics

With NBC's apps and Xfinity the wife has been watching hours and hours and hours of horse stuff in the Olympics. We did enjoy some of the pool stuff in prime time last night. I am looking forward to watch "rowing" as my dentist of nearly 30 years has a daughter, Grace Latz, in the women's quadruple sculls tomorrow morning. What do you like?

It's filler for me. I channel surf during commercials and the Olympics is in the mix. Gymnastics and swimming will keep me on the Olympics for a while before I surf away. Just watched the US women's team clinch the gold. Earlier it was Phelps wining gold in the 200 butterfly. Now back to reruns of Shark Tank.

Not really watching much - just getting the highlights.

I'm watching TV shows on Net Flix that I didn't watch in the past. Prison Break is one....

the odd ball stuff amused me because it was different.
I did not know that there was a precision air rifle competition.
looked up the toys, cool stuff.
and archery, wow holy cow, it's come a long way from a stick and string.

personally I find the interpretive competitions annoying, oh she didn't flick her wrist very well, that'll be a deduction....

I like competitions with real metrics, he did a 9.18 in the 100, that's a new world record.

While I generally agree, I have to say I was surprised at how synchronized diving held my attention for more than one dive. The camera angle they use allows you to see, right away, if the pair are out of synch. You come to appreciate the precision of the timing of such a difficult, complex feat very quickly.
