And your car might feel the pain, too! A loaded pickup stopped with the ^^^ hitch i/8 of an inch from my grill while he was parallel parking in front of me on Main Street in Durango last week. I was sitting with friends at a sidewalk cafe not far away -- cringing.

 

I use to run right into them during autocross season.

 

Removed mine from the volvo wagon after my wife ran into it..............

 

I used to do it at least once a year when I had pickups. It's very painful.

I've done that once or twice myself. Another one is the box with the toggle switch on it for the plow on the dash of a plowtruck whacked my knee on quite a few of those.

 

no never, that scar is from something else.
