Default Ouchie on FLA-Vyks CR

Was in Melborne at Wickham Park for a British Car Show (11-07-2009) and this happened, oh thank heaven for Wickham Road. Waiting on Insurance adjustor but FHP estimated $6500. Told insurance company that only Honda will do the work, so car is at the dealership now.

I am fine just my pride is hurt, and before it gets said I was not taking photos while driving "G"

Ouch, Vyk. No one was hurt? That is always the most important thing.

My pride was hurt back in August....you get over it.

Sorry to learn about this, Vyk! Glad you are ok! Even Honda is going to have trouble buffing that out!

Yikes. I know that feeling from when I seriously poked mine. I always figure that most any reputable shop can reinstall new parts and panels but only a very few are the best painters. I called around and found out where the most high end iron gets sent by the dealers themselves. Sorry to hear.

Poor car...that will be a bit hard to buff out. Good luck with the repairs.

Vyk, sorry your CR is bent but I'm sure glad you are fine. Let me be Captain Obvious here and say we all are wondering what happened.

The right side and the front look intact, but I'm sure that it will cost plenty to repair at Honda.

Oh Lordy, my heart just dropped down to my gut hearing about and seeing this. However, it came back up when I saw that the winshield wasn't broken and figured you were okay. What in the world? Can't have anything happening to my V-Y-K. I'm sure you'll explain how this all happened.

And I'm totally shocked that you would even THINK that I would think that you'd hit anything while taking pictures (I was more worried about getting hit from the rear on those blind curves in CO while you took pictures, )

Like Lainey and Patty said, just so long as you're okay, that's all I care about. We can get another CR if we have to but not another you. Now, dish! Poor baby!
