Default Pandora

I've discovered Pandora.
As usual I'm behind the times. What a great music search engine. I plugged in a few old favorites and it's pulling all kinds of good stuff.

Yeah, see Zippy (Ken) for his in-car set up. He uses his cell phone to stream it into the car's sound system. Others also do this, but Ken is the only one I know personally

I'm using Pandoro on the iphone as I walk on the track at the Y before my class. It is pretty darn cool. Haven't set any vehicles up with the high tech stuff yet.

Try I heart radio too.

We get Pandora stations, as well as well as all the Sirius stations via our "Squeezebox" Internet radio in the kitchen (WiFi to our router on the second floor). Not sure how it's *free* with no commercials, etc, but who's complaining

Still lovin' the Sirius X-m on our Prius...even though it's now a PAID subscription

I struggled with enabling Pandora on my Droid after reading terms and conditions.
I just couldn't see giving them access to all of my private data.
Free, isn't.

Yup, me too Jerry. There's lots of neat stuff I don't use out there.

In the immortal words of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, don't panic.

It is important to read the brief information provided before installing apps to anything. The info I'm referring to is not the lengthy terms and conditions (not that it's bad to read that...boring, but not bad). I mean the three minute synopsis of what the app accesses to do what it does. This is important from not only a privacy standpoint, but from battery-life concerns to data and call plan charges concerns as well.

Once you read them, you can decide if this is something you want after all.

Pandora on what the their app for Android accesses and for what purposes:

Others discussing the privacy issue regarding contacts:

And don't forget your towel.

Pandora is GREAT....!!! Been using for about 1-1/2 years. We use it on our iPod and play it through a Bose radio and have also downloaded it to our our computer.
